New API - Account Information

There is a new API in town, and it is all about making account look-up and reporting sleek and simple alternative to larger reporting products. Account Information is a multi-faceted API that can:

  • Generate an ID for current or past day transaction queries
  • Get an account list for users of current and previous day products
  • Summary information about pending and posted transaction for all payment types - Wire, ACH, and RTP.
  • Look up historical balance details by account

This API is based on FDX standards that help gather data quickly and accurately. It can easily interpret and convert various data language formats into a unified report.

What is FDX?

FDX stands for Financial Data Exchange. It's a standard in the banking industry that tell computers how to safely share money information between companies, like between your app and KeyBank. 

The next generation for reporting

Previous Day and Intraday APIs still have their place, but not for long. Account Information is a modern, more sleek API that retrieves commercial account basic information, IDs, and balance summaries for present and past transactions. This API also includes more information in its fiAttributes object, contain additional details like addenda information or a Lockbox report.

The Developer Portal now has a channel directly to support with automated escalation to your Technical Account Manager. You can also request a working session for more complicated support scenarios like how to set up those pesky certificates. 

Submit a support request with your general information and a high-level summary of your issue.  This form is intended for general inquiries, product guidance, and assistance connecting with subject matter experts. It is not monitored for urgent issues or system outages. For immediate support or to report a service disruption, please refer to your designated support channels or contact your Technical Account Manager directly.
